Bae Sejin: Usually, before I go to sleep, I wash my face once with water. Then I put on lotion and I'm ready to go to sleep.

Bae Sejin: The most popular role that I played is a shaman, but I played various roles as I'm not picky for any work.
Bae Sejin: Abducted kid, neighborhood leader, math genius... I played a lot as an everyday maknae in a big family. I also remember shooting for PSA posters and neighborhood festival advertisements.

Interviewer: Q8. People use the word ‘put efforts’ easily, but as a student taking exams, I feel that it is difficult. Sejinie, comparing early debut and now, your skills have increased the most amongst TeSTAR. When you feel that it's hard and like you hit a wall, what’s your secret to overcome that?
Bae Sejin: First, thank you for saying that. I know that I’m still lacking a lot in my skills.
Bae Sejin: And my way to overcome it… Hm
Bae Sejin: This isn’t a special way, but… I just keep moving forward. Because I’m a person with a lot of thoughts, I keep expecting bad things and my limits, but no matter what thoughts I get, I think it’s important to move my body first. I, too, learned that through experiencing a lot of trial and error.

Interviewer: Next, Q9. What is your favorite time of the day? (Like 3AM or 12PM..) And I want to know the reason why you like that time
Bae Sejin: Around 9PM?
Bae Sejin: At that time, I usually have finished most of the schedules for the day and finished my dinner so I feel a sense of freedom. Sometimes I worry for the day after, but, even if it’s a bit embarrassing, I think that it’s a good choice to have some time to read a book, watch videos, while giving praise and encouraging myself.

Bae Sejin: Even though hamsters are small, they're animals that are active and working hard in their life, so I think that fans are pointing that out..

Bae Sejin: I’m not sure how many I have since I mostly use the ones that I got as a present, but the ones that I bought are neck pillow and humidity indicator. And the body pillow that I received during early IJC bursted, so I bought a new one.
Bae Sejin: For handphone case… I got this on my first birthday after debuting with the group. It's not a hamster, but a hard case with my initials on it. I’m still using that now.
Interviewer: If that’s from a few years ago… are you the type that uses a smartphone for a long time without changing it?
Bae Sejin: No.
Bae Sejin: Actually I changed it, but I just use the previous case because it still roughly fits. Because I feel that it’s a bit of a waste…

Bae Sejin: Of course there are some! When they eat well, play well… and… laugh in conversations.
Bae Sejin: Now that I explain this, it might sound like I’m just saying whatever, but that’s totally not it!
Bae Sejin: That, when they’re comfortably and simply pursuing a drive…? They don’t look awkward and they look natural, so I get jealous of them and find them cute too.

Interviewer: Q14. I’m curious about which MV or scene that appeared prettily to you and you’re satisfied with during filming!
Bae Sejin: Honestly, rather than appearing prettily, I am more satisfied with having scenes that match with the storyline and the song as a whole, but since I’m an Idol, the former is also important.
Bae Sejin: So the MV that I’m satisfied with in both categories is Spring out. I acted without any reaction because there were a lot of CGs, but I’m glad because the result turned out really well.
Bae Sejin: Regardless, I feel that it’s all worth it in every MV filming. Most of TeSTAR’s music videos have clear role narrations, so it’s also fun to act them out!

Bae Sejin: No, I can understand why I heard that stuff, but now that I’m older, I think that I’m not cute anymore
Bae Sejin: Maybe they feel that my charm is the process of me improving. And… I, uh, think I look cool on the screen!

Interviewer: Q16. I’m curious about what you usually do when you get a holiday after album promotions!
Bae Sejin: Just, going back home and watch movies or make something with my mother.
Bae Sejin: There’s nothing special that I do. I mostly just blow off my steam and stay comfortably at home.
Bae Sejin: Of course I go on walks and talk with the members too! There are many posts in the group chat so I actually feel we talk more frequently than when we’re together at the dorm.

Interviewer: Q17. It seems that you often read books, do you have any interest in creative writing or writing lyrics? I’m very curious about what kind of feelings you put in your writing~
Bae Sejin: Lyrics… I’m putting effort into it, but every time I sleep then wake up, I see parts to fix, so I keep fixing them. I fixed a lot in my solo song, however, Park Moondae and Kim Raebin gave me a lot of encouragement saying that it’s good, so it was successfully included in the album.
Bae Sejin: I haven’t really tried creative writing, ah, but when I experience something that gives me a deep impression, I write a simple note of my thoughts during then. It’s not something I do regularly like Kim Raebin does, it’s like an occasional report.
Interviewer: Please explain the lyrics in your solo song <Poem>~
Interviewer:

Bae Sejin: This… The meaning is a bit sad; a lonely narrator discovering two persons’ footprints, then guessing and imagining what kind of stories the two persons have, while wishing for their happiness.
Bae Sejin: I tried to not get immersed in it so that I didn’t write it overly, but now that I look at it again, it does seem a bit overdone, but… I was happy that people liked it a lot.
Bae Sejin: I think that it’s good like this.
Interviewer: Hearing Sejin-ssi's explanation, the lyrics feel new to me. I will be praying for the unnamed two's happiness too..!

Bae Sejin: I think that all birthday gifts are precious.
Bae Sejin: But, uh… if I have to pick one, the spine pillow that Ryu Cheongwoo gifted me was really effective.
Bae Sejin: And for sinful statement, do you mean something a bit like a line from dating?

Bae Sejin: Ah
